Caitlin’s particular style of working with Kambo is very nurturing and gentle, emphasizing the power of the intentional ceremonial set and setting by holding a tight, safe and supportive space.
After using kambo to heal from a chronic health condition that encompassed Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, bacterial infections, depression, pain and food sensitivities, Caitlin felt deeply called to be in service to providing kambo to those in need.
Caitlin originally trained with the International Association of Kambo Practitioners (IAKP) and then later with various indigenous Matses tribes near Iquitos, Peru. She has been serving kambo since 2015 and has facilitated over 1400 sessions all over the world.
Caitlin’s background is in neurobiology, with emphasis in mood disorders and autoimmune conditions. In pursuit of her own health, Caitlin has studied nutritional neuroscience and helps people conquer their chronic health struggles, autoimmune and psychiatric conditions through diet, nutraceuticals and other healing modalities (such as Kambo).
Caitlin is also an independent scientific researcher and is currently conducting the first human kambo research in the field. Her past research has focused on psychedelic treatments for autoimmune conditions.
Aluna’s passion is to serve Kambo and provide safe, harmonious, and loving ceremony space for people in order to assist them on their healing journeys back to the Wholeness. She is committed to always working with integrity, humility, and compassion.
Aluna is an IAKP certified Kambo practitioner located in San Diego, CA offering Kambo ceremonies in North San Diego county. Walking on the path of healing her physical body and reclaiming her personal power lead Aluna to Peru where she has done a number of traditional master plant dietas.
That’s when Kambo came into her life, offering her potent healing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. Kambo then became her Spirit Guide, guiding her deeper on her journey of undoing, healing and becoming.
Aluna felt a deep passion to share the healing potential and the blessings of this powerful ancient gift from Her ceremonies are sprinkled with heart-felt medicine songs inspired from her time in the jungle, as well as playing music instruments.
Emily is an IAKP certified Kambo practitioner in central San Diego, CA. After being diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease and various co-infections in January 2019, her journey eventually lead her to kambo. After finding kambo, her health trajectory shifted in such a profound way. It was the first time in nearly a decade that she had felt a massive shift in who I she was in various ways. She knew after her first kambo ceremony that she would cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation with kambo and knew she was being called to practitioner training.
Her background consists of nearly a decade spent in western medicine. She worked as a medical technician in the emergency department and a trauma surgical intensive care unit. She hold a bachelors of science degree in Allied Heath and feels called to share her own experience in providing hope to others in transforming their lives. She is also certified in Lyme and Autoimmune specialty training by Medicine Frog Kambo.
